About the Team
Dr. Timothy Pigg
Timothy Pigg serves as the lead pastor of Fellowship Church, with campuses in Immokalee and Ave Maria in southwest Florida. His work and ministry has allowed him to serve in many local church contexts over the last 15 years. This has birthed in Timothy a love for the local church, ecclesiology, and text-driven preaching and practice.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Timothy had the incredible privilege of growing up under the expositional preaching of Dr. Jerry Vines and attending the yearly Jacksonville Pastor's Conference. Timothy moved to Texas and studied under Dr. Paige Patterson at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth for seven years, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in Humanities (2013), a Master of Divinity (2015), and a Doctorate in Ministry (2020). While at Southwestern, Timothy served as an assistant under Dr. Waylan Owens in the School of Education. Timothy also served on staff in several local churches in North Texas.

In 2020, Timothy joined together with several pastors and laymen throughout the Southern Baptist Convention to launch the Conservative Baptist Network—a group focused on maintaining a longstanding, convention-wide commitment to the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture. After four years serving on the Steering Council and as the State Chapter Coordinator, Timothy now serves as the Director of the Conservative Baptist Network.
Timothy serves on the Board of Missions at the Florida Baptist Convention. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Montana Christian College in Kalispell, Montana and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Applied Theology for Northeastern Baptist College in Bennington, Vermont and as an Adjunct Professor at the Baptist University of Florida. In 2021, Timothy launched the Text-Driven Podcast, dedicated to equipping believers to know God and make Him known through text-driven preaching and practice.

In December 2022, Timothy partnered with Northeastern Baptist Press to publish his first book, The Local Church Matters.

She is also a staff writer for the Florida Baptist Convention and Conservative Baptist Network Press. Jessica also serves as the Ministers' Wives Network Southwest Regional Catalyst for the Florida Baptist Convention. In 2022, Jessica launched the Text-Driven Women Podcast, dedicated to celebrating biblical womanhood and encouraging and equipping women to live God’s divine design in their daily lives.

Jessica has had the incredible privilege of writing for Christian news organizations across the United States, including BiblicalWoman.com, Southern Baptist of Texas Convention, The Alabama Baptist, Whole Magazine, and Baptist Press. In 2023, she was also awarded from the Baptist Communicators Association for her coverage with the Florida Baptist Convention.
She also considers it an honor of a lifetime to be a contributing writer for The Devotional for Women (B&H, 2015), The Devotional for Women: Psalms & Proverbs (B&H, 2017), and the Daily Devotional Bible for Women (B&H, 2019).

In addition to writing, Jessica enjoys teaching the Bible to women of Fellowship Church, as well as the children's ministry. Perhaps her greatest joy is serving alongside her husband in their local church and being his biggest prayer warrior and cheerleader.

Timothy and Jessica call sunny, southwest Florida home.
